Pale moonlight descended from the heavens and coated the Earth in its ubiquitous lightly blue toned glow. The clouds above moved slowly, as if attempting not to disturb nature from its rest. A gentle breeze caressed the furs of sleeping or resting wolves lying temporarily dormant in the shade of the night. At the moment, the camp seemed to be completely inactive save for a few restless or contemplating souls. But soon all of that would have to change. If for only a moment.
Aurora trotted silently towards the quiet place, the newly adorned gem crowning her forehead glimmering in the moonlight. With little noise, she made her way up towards a rocky outcropping that stood about ten feet above the rest of the camp, a spot where a sentinel usually stood to oversee the camp's well-being. Once she had finally ascended to the top a small smile played at her muzzle. It looked like everyone was already gathered, save for a few Milede, which made her job a lot easier. For a moment, she sat back on her haunches and just enjoyed the glow of the moonlight. Everything about it accentuated the plethora of colors in her fur, causing them to shine faintly. In the strangely eerie light, the Electin marking recently given to her shone even more brilliantly than her golden mane.
Now was the time to call her children, the wolves, to an important meeting. With little effort, she tilted her head towards the moon and belted out a surprisingly loud howl which echoed noisily through the camp and then made its way towards the surrounding areas of Adair. She was not so much trying to awake those who were at the camp as much as she was trying to call the Milede who were patrolling the borders vigilantly. Everyone needed to be around to hear what she had to say.
Hopefully the wolves who were now awoken by her loud howl would understand the urgency of her news. Well, it wasn't exactly urgent, but she had orders to immediately inform the camp of their new Electin. Herself, of course. In all honesty, she had no idea how they would react to the news. Though she was a Milede, she was pretty sure she would have more Venta supporters than anyone else, for she was usually without fail watching the pups, a job normally reserved for Venta. Perhaps they had caught some whiff of her good intentions and heavily stressed maternal instincts. As for those who had not yet met her or just seen her little- well, they might have thought she was aloof. Perhaps undeserving of the title. In any case, there was nothing she or they could do about it. The Electin markings that now stood out proudly on her features would not be removed anytime soon. Aurora only hoped that she could support her pack- no.. her children. [/color]

Head lifted from the earth as a call sounded out, startlingly close. While first instinct was to leap to his feet, the call was familiar, and the horned drake rose slowly, gaze trained on the source. He smiled, a little lopsided as the ground had flattened his fur on one side. He stepped over to Aurora, head tilting as he sat nearby, directly across the circle that was sure to form.
Good evenin', miss. He grinned, sleepy, but waking quickly. There must be something important, but Aurora didn't seem anxious or worried, beyond the normal speaking to the pack, that is. No one had called them together for a while, and Zadru half-wondered if others would listen. he had no objections- he could sleep in later. he hadn't fallen asleep yet, but had been laying there a while, hence his flattened coat.

Terra hadn't been to far away to hear the howl. She had feel asleep in the camp already. She walked on and stopped when she reached the one who had howled. She had a crowned jewel on her head apparently from Arria or Trigo. It shone in the moonlight. It looked beautiful.
She nodded to both Aurora and Zadru, both of which sat near. She moved, sheepishly, next to Zadru, who had talked with her earlier.

Jey appeared in the small group of wolves awaken from the howl.
(Sorry for making this so cheap. I didn't know what to do.)

Klien's blue eyes crept open, still blurry with sleep. As her perception cleared, she could see some of her other pack members gathered around Aurora. It took her a few seconds to realize that a howl had awoken her. Most always, a howl entailed a meeting.
Now fully alert, she quickly got to her feet and joined the others. She couldn't help but notice the jewel that now adorned Aurora's head. It was really pretty, resembling shining water. Klien wondered where she had gotten it from.
