Shades of dark blue and green danced over the ball of gray fur that was Syn as a wind blew past the mouth of the den. Bits of sun has broken through the cover and splashed the walls of the den in color, as it did often enough. So often that Syn had found a place between two rocks to hid his head from the morning light. His place was near the mouth of the den, but tucked off into a corner and out of the way of anyone who wished to enter or leave.
A twitch of his ears and the occasional kick of his paws(which were spayed out in the air above him) gave away the fact that he was still asleep, and dreaming by the looks of it, despite the fact that most others were out hunting or training or otherwise doing what needed to be done. The rabbit was RIGHT there, how could you miss that!! Syn whimpered and inhaled a deep breath of dust, sending him into a sneezing fit. as a result he slammed his head into one of the rocks he was sleeping under and came to quit a rude awakening.
'Owe!' Syn went limp for a bit and just glared at the rock before wiggling out of his wedge and rubbing the dust of of his nose with a paw. "Well, I suppose.." He stretched out and gave a loud yawn, snapping his jaw shut. "It's about time to get up anyway."
And with that he trotted to the mouth of the den to see who all was out and about.
((it's going to take me a while to get used to being a wolf again, I'm so used to playing humans xD))

Call me friend or call me a foe.... A small female laid out in the open of one of the most dangerous packs, but she did not care. This was the place she called home and she was raised in this mysterious land. Everything about the land screamed danger, from the dens where her fellow pack members slept to the land surrounding it. The sunlight was stronger today than it was the day before. She could feel the sunlight slowly warming up her pelt and her eyes became heavy. A yawn escaped from her lips to show her canines and her pink tongue. Her teeth where long and sharp from chewing on the bones of her prey. A soft thump came from the direction of the caves where the pack lives and Tokine growled softly. Her neck fur rose as she slowly got to her feet to see who came out of the den. Her stormy gray eyes flashed down to a rabbit who ran out of the caves and watched as a male came out a little later. You fool, were you trying to give me a heart attack? Tokine licked her chest fur to smooth her anxiety she had felt just seconds before. She was still a pup in the eyes of the pack and hardly an apprentice, but this wolf almost got to see how her training had changed her. Your lucky I do not attack just by the sound of movement, sir. She slowly looked at the male in front of her and snorted. I can not believe he would miss a rabbit that close to him. It was in the cave for crying out loud!
but in the end, everything remains the same.

"Lucky? More like lucky that you have the brains to not attack by the sound of movement." A large white wolf approached from between a bush and a rugged outcrop of stone, where her den lay. Brown paint-like splatters coated her limbs; it looked as though she had just walked through a swamp to reach the pair. "And by the way, know that you contradict yourself when you call someone a fool and then address them as sir." She snorted and gave a bark of laughter. "Tokine," she added, just to make sure that the apprentice knew who she was talking to.
She yawned, exposing the ribbed roof of her mouth. "And you, young 'sir'," she said, mimicking the dark-pelted veni, "-should know better than to shout this early in the morning. The sun's barely up, and 'though a lot of wolves are out hunting or training, there're some that'd like to sleep in for once, y'know." Her teasing tone, however, contradicted her stern words. She settled down onto her haunches and lolled her tongue out. "Like me, for instance." Today she was in a good mood. Perhaps it was the warm, bright weather-whatever it was, Fessran mused, she was utterly content except for the fact that her stomach was letting out persistent little growls.
