Tokine stretched her neck forward as she listened for Kludd response. She could see his mouth and lips moving, but yet no sound came out. It was quite odd and she tried to open her mouth to ask him to please repeat himself, but she could not. Something was wrong with her and she knew it. Never before had her body stopped responding to her commands and it frightened her to her core. Her legs shook a bit and the movement caused little black dots to dance before her eyes. Kludd blurred in and out of her vision and nothing she tried would stop it. She tried to blink her eyes, only to have the world black out for a second. She would have shaken her head to clear it if she could, but her brain could no longer think rationally. The world began to spin around her and the ground rose up to meet her. Soon everything was dark and she could no longer feel the world around her.
((Black out!!!))

The silver-blue male narrowed his eyes, his brow furrowing, at Tokine's strange manner. She looked shaken, unfocused. Was something wrong with her? "Tokine?" he asked tentatively. He watched her totter as though she had no control over her movements and collapse.
At first, Kludd had no idea what to do. He didn't panic; he didn't rush to help her either, he just stood stockstill and stared at the frozen bundle of fur on the ground. Then his nerves seemed to work again and he quickly bounded the short distance toward the fallen veni. "Tokine?!" Her heart was still beating; he could see the rise and fall of her chest as she breathed. So that eliminated the possibility of death. Kludd cursed at himself for being silly, then gently laid a paw on her flank and waited to see if she responded. She didn't. Obviously, she was out cold. Was it the training that had done that to her? Perhaps the illusion she had recently performed used up all her energy... Damn, now what was he going to do? Wait for her to wake up?
He settled down onto his stomach, his silver fur brushing her dark navy as he did so. "Wake up, Tokine, damn you," he growled, shoving her still body with a forepaw. Gently, but he wanted her to respond. Needed her to respond actually. If she didn't... that would mean a lot of trouble for him and despite the fact that she was a frustrating little idiot at times, he would miss her. Badly. But he would never admit that aloud.

Everything was confusing and nothing made sense. Why was someone calling her name and more importantly why couldn’t she respond? She could not move her jaw muscles to tell them it was okay and she was fine. Something was not right and the female knew it. The last thing she heard was her name and everything went black.
An hour later.
Tokine felt something warm brush against her pelt. The unknown object felt like fur, but she could only remember being with Kludd. She knew it must be a mistake, Kludd would never comfort her. What was going on? Slowly the sounds of the forest and the feeling of the heavy mist on her fur came to her. Slowly she opened her stormy gray eyes and the world seemed bright at first. Everything slowly came into place before her eyes and she soon could see the world around her.
Her eyes looked to her side to see Kludd /right/ beside her and she instantly pulled away from him. She did not like being so close to her mentor and she let a small growl come from her lips. Can we go home now?Tokine really couldn't take anymore training today, without risking more than a black out. Every movement made stars dance in-front of her eyes.

Kludd was rather startled when Tokine suddenly pulled out from the cold sleep she had been chained in. He had sunken into a lazy doze and felt quite bored, but it was a content bored as his eyelids threatened to slide over his narrowed eyes. So he jerked out of his reverie the moment she jerked away from him. Actually, that shouldn't have been so unexpected. They never were on very close terms anyway, so his presence obviously was out of the ordinary. But her sudden black out was abnormal as well; she had never done that before.
The scent of limp, rather cold pheasant reminded him of the prey that he had caught for the both of them, for when Tokine awoke. He had devoured the wings but left the plump torso for his apprentice to feast upon. His excuse, if she were to ask, would be that he decided to follow the wafting scent of bird and give them both a little treat. Which was virtually true.
He heaved his bulk up and yawned, a shudder running down his flank as he did so. "Yes, let's go back now. No sense in continuing if all you're going to do is knock yourself out every time we try to practice magic." His gaze traveled over her dark-toned coat, a nonchalant mask hiding his slight concern. Oh, well. She would be alright; she would probably be better in the morning once she had had a good night's sleep. And have eaten the pheasant, of course. "You carry this," he said, nudging the dead fowl toward her with a forepaw. "Eat it when we're back at camp."

Tokine was surprised when Kludd agreed to let them go back to camp. Normally he would have tried to keep them working, but maybe he was sick too? Tokine was not sure, but she did not trust his words much. He might be planning on killing me somewhere in the forest for not have the energy to continue. The female was careful to keep her thoughts off her face as she studied her mentor. Are you nuts? Why not eat it now? Jeez are you dumb or what! I can hardly move without feeling dizzy, a little food would do me some good. Tokine sank her teeth into the bird and began to slowly devour the bird body. She notice there where no wings, but said nothing. She knew that she was not the only one who got hungry. Soon nothing was left of the bird, but bones. Tokine swiped her tongue across her muzzle with longing for more food. She could feel more energy in her body, but she was still weaker than she wanted. She need strength and that would only come with time. She sighed as she thought of how weak she really was compared to the others. Tokine opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off by a loud howl. It was a summoning howl, but something about this howl was off. It was too loud and no wolf should be able to howl that loud. Tokine was afraid and she looked at Kludd with wide eyes. Well we ha..have to go. Lead the way please. Tokine knew that what ever was howling was not something that was mortal. Her neck fur was standing on end in fear.
